For Those Who Hurt

Welcome
Welcome, in the name of the Triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; Amen.
This is the start of several hub pages that is for all those people who hurt. The type of pain I am talking about is not physical, but psychological and spiritual. This type of pain affects both young and old, rich and poor.
The things that we tell ourselves can and do affect our moods and actions. Being in mental anguish is not limited to those who are not Christian. Even Christians lose their way and become ensnared with the lies they tell themselves. It is no shame to be asking questions such as, "Why am I still depressed or anxious?", "Does Jesus still love and forgive me?", and "I hate myself and Jesus does not seem to care." There are lots of reasons for why you maybe hurting right now.
One thing I want to say is that Jesus does care about you and does love you. He wants to help you. He will not turn you away. Here is one of my favorite verses:
"Come all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28:30 - KJV).
If you are in any doubt whatsoever that Jesus loves you and wants you to come to Him right now, then read and re-read the above verse. Memorize it. Believe what Christ is telling you. Turn around (repent), right now and come to Him who said, "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out." (John 6:37 - KJV).
If you are wondering if Christ is lying to you; read this verse. "God is not a man that he should lie; nor the son of man, that he should change his mind." (Numbers 23:19 - KJV).
Come to Jesus just as you are, in what ever physical, or mental state you are in. God will never hold anything you did in the past against you' provided that you repent, confess and receive His divine forgiveness.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:8-9 (KJV)
My Purpose
My sole purpose for creating these pages is to tell people that they have a God and a Savior - Jesus Christ. Christ came to earth to save you from sin, hell, death, Satan, and yourself. Jesus wants you come come to Him, repent, confess your sins to Him, and receive His forgiveness. But, not only that, Christ wants to heal you and comfort you. Christ does not want you to remain in your current depressed or anxious state. He wants to give you His peace:
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. (John 14:27 - KJV)
I have discovered, after many years of therapy, that conventional therapeutic methods do not work for me. Not that they are bad or invalid, they just seemed to be missing something. That something was Jesus Christ and His healing words of peace, forgiveness, and the assurance of eternal life. I have found that there is no substitute for what Jesus offers - peace with God and peace with yourself.
